During the month of October, the Woodville ISD Food Service Department has participated in the Texas Department of Agriculture's "Farm Fresh Challenge".  This challenge is a fun way for students to learn about the importance of fresh foods and engage in activities with local farmers and ranchers. Throughout the month, WISD has spotlighted various fresh, local foods that we have served in our cafeterias. This week, WISD High School students enjoyed touring "Veggies in the Burbs", a local hydroponic farm that supplies our food service department with things like lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers. Take a look at some of the photos they shared with us!  #FarmFreshTexas
