As with nearly every tradition in our lives, be they be big or small, COVID-19 has forced us to make changes to protect the health and wellness of our community. This year’s Veteran’s Day will be celebrated in a little different way; while we were not able to gather for our traditional Veteran’s Day Celebration, we believe it is important now, more than ever, to honor “Those Who Serve and Those Who Have Served”. This year Woodville ISD is presenting a virtual Veteran’s Day Tribute. The tribute is a combined effort of WHS teacher Eric Atkinson and his Graphic Design, Principles of A/V, Digital Media classes, the Yearbook staff and other volunteers. We hope that this time next year we will be able to once again gather with friends and neighbors to celebrate and honor our veterans together as one community, but until that day, all of us at Woodville ISD say thank you to all veterans and we will never let your service and heroism be forgotten.
