Vision Statement – The Athletic Training Department at Woodville High School shall provide injury prevention, care, and rehabilitation of recognized excellence to each and every student-athlete. We continually strive to ensure and promote not only the athletic performance of our student-athletes, but also their future health.

Mission Statement – The mission of the Athletic Training Department at Woodville High School is to provide each student-athlete with the most comprehensive and highest quality health care. The services we provide to our athletes include prevention, recognition, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses, as well as modern and validated technology. We vow to provide services and interventions that are compliant with all UIL policies and procedures.

We are devoted to creating a safe, healthy, and culturally sensitive environment for our student-athletes. We assure that each member of Woodville Athletic Training maintains a positive, caring and professional attitude. We strive to uphold all ethical and legal guidelines that the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Code of Professional Practice outlines.

The underlying philosophy of this program is that the medical needs of the student-athlete shall and always will be the first consideration of the staff member.
