Woodville Independent School District is aware of the recent arrest of a former paraprofessional in connection with allegations previously reported by the District. As shared in the earlier statement, the District immediately notified the appropriate authorities upon learning of the initial report on February 10, and the individual was no longer employed by the District as of February 11. The parents of the students directly involved were notified at that time.
Woodville ISD continues to cooperate fully with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, and state authorities in their investigation and anticipated prosecution.
Because this is now an active criminal matter, the District is limited in what it can share and cannot comment on specific details or personnel matters. T
