Due to traffic issues associated with evacuations due to the Hurricane we are moving high school volleyball games scheduled for today to Monday in Newton starting at 4:30 w the JV followed by the varsity.

October is National Principals Month! We will be celebrating our amazing Woodville ISD Principals and Assistant Principals all month long. #ThankAPrincipal


The Gifted and Talented nomination window is now open until October 12, 2020. If you are interested in nominating a child, nomination forms are available from the child's campus GT Coordinator. Campus Coordinators are: Wheat Elementary-Bridgette Stott, Woodville Intermediate-Julie Borel, Woodville Middle School-Marsha Watts, Woodville High School-Cathy D'Entremont.

The WISD lunch ladies have been doing more than just serving up delicious meals, they have been busy adding some special touches to the cafeterias. It's Fall Ya'll!!!!!



**Just a reminder** Tickets for Friday night's Varsity Football game against Kirbyville can be purchased at the Visitors gate. There will be approximately 450 tickets available for Eagle fans. Prices - Adult $6 Students $3, All tickets for the visiting team will be purchased at the Visitor’s gate (behind the high school gymnasium) Ticket Booth opens at 6:00PM. All visitors will enter the stadium through the visitors ticket booth and will remain on the visitor’s side of the stadium for the duration of the game. Visitor Parking is designated for the parking lots in front of the Wildcat Gymnasium (accessible from Hwy 96) and behind Wildcat Gymnasium (Elizabeth Street). Restrooms are located next to the visitors’ ticket booth.

Just a reminder that there will be no school October 8th and 9th. WISD will be out for the Tyler County Fair.

****Time change****The Woodville 7th grade football game will start at 4:30 tomorrow (9-24-20) instead of 5:00, with the 8th grade game starting IMMEDIATELY after.

WISD remote learners who are failing or not meeting attendance requirements for the 1st 6-weeks will return to face-to-face instruction beginning September 28th. Parents of these students will be contacted in the coming days by campus administration to make arrangements.

October 2nd is a student holiday for WISD. We will be using that day for parent/teacher conferences. Over the next few days, every parent will be contacted to set up a conference time, report cards for the 1st 6-weeks will be given out at this meeting.

At this point a significant impact isn't expected for our area due to tropical storm Beta. We want to assure everyone, we will continue to monitor the storm's progress/potential rainfall and notify students and staff as soon as possible of any changes to our regular schedule via our alert system and social media.
