Just a reminder that the next meeting of the WISD Facilities Task Force will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria. This meeting will be to finalize a plan to present to the Woodville ISD Board of Trustees in November. The public is invited to attend.

Woodville ISD GT Nomination Information


Woodville ISD will have a delayed start at 10:00am tomorrow, Sept. 14, 2021. This will allow us time to evaluate the weather. Buses will run 2 hours later than usual and breakfast will not be served. Staff will need to report by 9:30. We will continue to monitor the storm and keep you informed.

The Woodville Eagle Varsity and JV football games for this week have been cancelled. At this time, the Lady Eagle Varsity and JV volleyball games scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 14th have been moved to Wednesday, Sept. 15th. Please follow our social media pages for updates.

We will be monitoring Tropical Storm Nicholas over the next couple days. While we don't anticipate high winds or hurricane conditions, there are concerns of potential flooding. Please follow our social media pages for information and any decisions affecting the District.

The next meeting of the WISD Facilities Task Force will be held on Tuesday, September 14th at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria. The public is invited to attend.

Tickets for the Woodville vs Orangefield football game on Friday night (at home) will be available at the gate. Ticket prices are $6.00 for the public and $3.00 for students, our senior citizen Gold Cards and district passes will be accepted at the gate also.

Thank you Tyler County Farm Bureau Insurance!!! WISD Board of Trustees was presented with a check for $500 dollars benefiting our students. Thank you for supporting our Eagles!!!


The next meeting of the WISD Facilities Task Force will be held on Tuesday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria. At this meeting, additional financial information will be shared in regards to district priorities and funding. The public is encourage to attend.

Woodville ISD will hold its third meeting of the WISD Facility Task Force team on Thursday, July 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Elementary Cafeteria. At this meeting, as part of the long-term strategic planning process, we will be reviewing the information from the facilities tours and have a presentation on school finance. This meeting is open to the public; we want and value the community’s thoughts and ideas and encourage anyone interested in the future of our school to plan on attending.

Just a reminder, as the WISD Facility Task Force Team continues the long term strategic planning process; WISD Superintendent Lisa Meysembourg will be giving tours of the WISD facilities. Tour dates and times are still available, today, July 14th at 5:30 p.m. This tour will start at the Elementary/Intermediate Campuses (meet at the Administration Building) and will end across town at the Middle School/High School Campuses, if the group would like to do so. Also, Saturday, July 17th at 9 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The early tour will include the Elementary/Intermediate Campuses (meet at the Administration building) and the later tour will be the Middle School/High School Campuses (meet in front of the High School).
