Wheat Parents We were so excited to see all the kids at Meet the Teacher. It was a great feeling to have them back in the halls. If you did not get to attend meet the teacher, please call tomorrow to find out the teacher's name. As we get ready for Thursday, I have some important information about arrival and dismissal. Arrival Unfortunately, because we won't be able to control the crowd, social distancing, and possible exposure, parents will NOT be able to walk their child to the classroom. Parent will not be able to enter the building. We have a photo opportunity for you by the front door. Please take advantage of it all week. Thursday & Friday--For Kinder, 1st, & 2nd grade, drop off time is 7:20-7:50. For PreK, drop off time is 8:00-8:20. Dismissal In order to social distance the students during dismissal, we have a new procedure. At Meet the Teacher, car rider students were issued a number on a car tag to hand from the rear view mirror. (If you didn't get one, please call the office tomorrow.) Since this is new to the staff and parents we are going to have different dismissal times to practice the new procedure. If you have multiple kids on campus, they will be dismissed with the youngest grade level in your family. Please be aware of the times for Thursday & Friday ONLY. Car Rider Dismissal Thursday & Friday PreK 2:30-2:45 Kinder 2:45-3:00 1st 3:00-3:15 2nd 3:15-3:30 Remaining 3:30-3:45 Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.
