Reading Summer Challenge
July 7th - August 18th
Reading minutes must be completed using the MyON website or app. Students can download 20 books at one time for use when internet is not available.
Have your child log in before the 7th so they will be ready for the challenge!

Just a reminder - tomorrow is Awards Day for 1st and 2nd graders in the Gym. 1st grade is at Noon. 2nd grade is at 1pm.
Also tomorrow evening is our fundraiser dance Ties and Tiaras (Mother/Son or Father/Daughter Dance). 6:30-8 pm in the cafeteria.
$15 (1 Adult & 1 student PreK-2nd) $5 each additional student.

This is a message from the Woodville Independent School District. Due to potentially hazardous road conditions the district will be delaying school start time for one hour. Bus routes and drop off times will be scheduled one hour later today. If conditions change updates will posted.
Also, due to flooding in Beaumont, the 2nd grade incentive is cancelled. We will reschedule.

Around 1:25 today, there was an accidental alarm that notified the Sheriff's office. This was a FALSE alarm. I would like to thank the Police Dept. and Sheriff Office officers for their quick response. Again, this was false alarm.

It was a GREAT day at Wheat!!! First Grade celebrated the 100th day of school with a fashion show and a challenge to read a 100 books in one day. The students came together and did their part to read 100 books. Way to go 1st Grade!!!!!

I hope you had a wonderful break. I’m excited to see everyone tomorrow. Tomorrow will be regular schedule. If your child is a car rider, please drop off between 7:30-7:50.
Just a reminder students will not come to school on Friday, Jan. 11th, because of the end of six weeks teacher workday.
Car rider fast pass raffle tickets will be sold this week Monday-Thursday. I will draw on Facebook Live Friday morning at 8:30. This your chance to win the Fast pass which allows you to bypass the car rider line. No waiting!!!!
