The shelter in place order issued earlier today affecting some areas of Tyler County has been lifted. We appreciate the patience and understanding of our staff, students and community as we monitored and navigated the situation.
Woodville ISD is aware of the notice put out through the Tyler County Emergency Management's Office regarding the explosion in Shepherd and the resulting plume of smoke. At this time, we are not included in the warning as the prevailing winds do not affect us. However in an abundance of caution we are limiting outside activities for students and staff as we monitor the situation. We will send out additional information through our alert system should that be necessary.

THANK YOU WISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES!!!! The WISD Board of Trustees approved recruitment/retention bonuses for all staff at the September board meeting. This token of gratitude was made possible through ESSER funding (some of which will be ending 9-30-2023); money made available to Texas public schools as a result of the pandemic. As you can see in the pictures, it came as a surprise and was appreciated by all! Please enjoy the photo dump (more to follow)! #relationshipsmatter
