Wheat Parents-Please help us.
The notice of sending students home today had to be a quick decision due to no water at the high school. If you will follow these directions it will so smoothly.
1. If your child is normally a car rider, simply pull up in the car rider line.
2. If your child is normally a bus rider OR car rider and it will be different today, call and let us know the change.
3. Please don’t come in the office unless it is a necessity. The Car rider line will be the fastest way to pick up your child.
Buses will start departing at 10:15.

Due to the water break at the secondary campuses, we are being forced to close school. All bus riders will leave campuses at 10:15. If your student is a car rider, someone will be on campuses for the remainder of the day so arrangements can be made to pick them up at your convenience. We apologize for the inconvenience and feel free to contact your campus office with any questions.
This morning just as students were arriving we were notified of a water main break effecting the Middle School and High School campuses. There is water at the Summit and bottled water is being made available at campuses. Repairs have begun on the break. Administration is monitoring the situation and if repairs cannot be made quickly, decisions on the rest of the school day will be made as necessary. We will update everyone ASAP.

Due to traffic issues associated with evacuations due to the Hurricane we are moving high school volleyball games scheduled for today to Monday in Newton starting at 4:30 w the JV followed by the varsity.
