Just a reminder, due to seating limitations, we are encouraging parents not to check students out from other campuses to attend the pep rally. This pep rally is for WHS students and family/community members who may not get a chance to attend the game due to limited tickets. The pep rally is scheduled for 2:50.

Due to COVID we must limit the number of people coming in the building. This means that deliveries to the campus cannot be accepted. If you are planning to send anything for homecoming tomorrow, it will not be accepted. Please have it before school to give to your child.


Due to the attendance restrictions related to COVID-19, the homecoming game against Little Cypress Mauriceville on September 18th, is sold out. Tickets for this game are no longer available. There will be no tickets available at the gate. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Now that we have most of the kinks worked out, we will begin the official drop off and pick up times. Please keep your car rider tag visible until the child is in the car.
Arrival -Drop Off: 7:20-7:50 am
Breakfast ends at 7:50 am
Tardy Bell: 7:55 am.
Dismissal- Pick Up: 3:30-3:45

The deadline to change your students instructional method option for the 2nd 6 weeks grading period is Friday, September 25, 2020. If you want to change the current commitment option for your child, please contact your student's campus office to complete a new Commitment Form. This change of commitment will begin and remain the same for September 28th thru November 6, 2020.

Due to the attendance restrictions related to COVID-19, tonight's game against Corrigan-Camden is almost sold out. There are a very limited number of tickets that will be available at the gate on a first come/first served basis. Ticket booths will open at 6:30. NO ONE will be admitted without a face covering or a ticket.

WISD varsity football will play Karne’s City ISD on Saturday, September 5th at 6 p.m. at Edna ISD stadium. Information on tickets, including previously purchased tickets will be released tomorrow. There will be no JV game this week.

Diboll has cancelled the football games for Thursday and Friday night. At this time we are continuing to look for games to replace them. Information on new games will follow as soon as we have it.

PreK Parents, Due to a COVID case and keeping student’s safety as top priority, we will do PREK CLASSES ONLY by remote for this coming week. Teachers will reach out to you Monday. We are going to take advantage of this time to schedule mandatory beginning of the year testing. This will allow 1-1 testing with the students. Sorry for any inconvenience! Safety first!

Due to the mandatory evacuations south of our county and the impact it will have on traffic and the ability to get to campuses, Woodville ISD will go to remote learning for Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be no face to face instruction. More information will be provided as it becomes available over the next day or so.

Due to the uncertainty of the impending storms/hurricanes, the football games against Newton on Thursday and Friday and the volleyball games against Hardin Jefferson on Friday have all been cancelled.

Woodville ISD would like to assure parents and the community that we are monitoring the weather in regards to the tropical storms. As we learn more about the storms and their potential impact on us, we will make the decision to "move to remote learning" or "close school for instruction", if necessary during the affected times. We will provide information ASAP as decisions are made and information becomes available.

Reminder, today, Friday August 21st, is the last day to change your instructional delivery commitment for the first 6-weeks. If you have any questions or desire to change your commitment, please contact your campus office ASAP.

In an effort to keep our students healthy and safe during the pandemic and to ensure effective contact tracing if needed, only students assigned to bus routes will be allowed to ride the buses to and from school (and then, only their assigned bus). "Friends" of bus riders will not be allowed to ride on route buses. Parents of bus riders should make alternate travel arrangements if other students are visiting or staying over with their child.
