This week was Educational Diagnostician Appreciation week at WMS. We would like to to take the time to give a special thanks to Mrs. Walsh and Ms. Zeller for always going above and beyond for all of our students. Our DIAG team is a set of uniquely qualified data collection professionals, who are an ally of students and teachers alike, facilitating collaboration, mending hope for families, enabling successful outcomes, and helping students thrive.

Latest round of progress pictures on a foggy Monday morning!

Woodville Middle Schooll 6th and 7th grade RLA teachers, Marsha Watts and Mary Knotts, attended the Teach Big Full Circle Language Arts Writing conference this week. These ladies learned a wealth of fun and creative strategies to teach our students to write extended/short constructed response questions. Next week, these strategies will be implemented in their classroom Boot Camps to gear up for STAAR assessments in April.

Just a reminder! Coming up this Saturday!

So excited to finally be able to do this! Come out and share the moment with us!

Woodville Middle School students representing too!!!! WISD had another group of students who were chosen to participate at the TASB Governance Conference in Galveston. The group left out super early this morning and will be presenting their "Great Storm of 1900 Project", sharing information and demonstrating their knowledge and leadership skills. What a great experience for these exceptional middle school students and their leaders!

We are so proud and excited for WHS's auto body collision repair class. Under the guidance of Mr. Jesus Prieto (Chuy), the class has been working on restoring this vintage pickup. They were chosen (from hundreds of student groups statewide) to attend the Texas Association of School Boards Governance Camp being held in Galveston over the next couple days. They will have the opportunity to showcase and discuss the skills they are learning. This is a statewide conference attended by school board members from districts all across Texas.
"Eagle 1" is headed out!!!!
