If you are interested in showing a steer, heifer, goat or sheep at the majors next year, it's time to order tags. The deadline to order tags is April 8th. Also, if you plan to participate in the swine show at the State Fair tag orders are due. That deadline is also April 8th 2024.

The Beaumont Foundation of America has selected its 2024 recipients for the Wayne A. Reaud Excellence in Education Award. Teachers are chosen each year to receive this prestigious award in recognition of their contributions as educators. in Southeast Texas. Each Award Recipient will be honored at an awards gala on May 14 and will receive a crystal obelisk, a portrait, and a significant financial award.
Congratulations to Mrs Krystal. Hayes, 2024 Woodville High School Reaud Award Recipient! This is the first time in history that any teacher at Woodville High School has ever received this honor.
We are so proud of all that Mrs. Hayes has accomplished, completing her M.Ed in Administration this year. She also serves as Math Department Chair, mentor to her fellow teachers, Student Council advisor, prom coordinator, and cheer sponsor. She currently teaches Algebra 1 at WHS.
The Reaud Award, established in 2009, recognizes and celebrates "superior contributions of teachers whose leadership and dedication inspire a spirit of learning in students of all backgrounds and learning abilities," according to the foundation's website.
Other eligibility criteria include dedication, knowledge and skill, distinguishable classroom practice, professionalism, and contributions to the wider school community.
