We are so happy to announce Mrs. Garza as March Employee of the Month! Mrs. Garza goes above and beyond for her students in Spansih I every day. She comes to work early, cooks and decorates for our showers and celebrations, and stays late after school to help students. Woodville High School had eight students compete at the Regional UIL Academic Meet in Brenham on Saturday, April 13. Kaylee Allen placed 6th in Science and Penny Brackin placed 2nd in Lincoln Douglas Debate! Good luck to Penny as she advances to state competition in May!




Alexis Swafford received an Honorable Mention and $100 in gift cards at the Congressional Art Show April 13th at the University of Houston Clear Lake

English I and English II students will be taking the STAAR test next week on Tuesday, April 9 and Thursday, April 11. All students who are testing should be at school by 7:45am on testing day.

WHS is proud to honor Junior Telia Jackson as our Student of the Week.
Telia is a fabulous representative of WHS! She is a leader both on and off the basketball court. Not only is she a standout athlete, but she shows determination and perseverance in everything she does. Telia's leadership abilities shined bright as she was a driving force behind the success of the State Finalist Lady Eagles Basketball Team this year. She is a hard worker and respectful to all those she interacts with both in and out of the classroom.
